CHEAP FIND:

$2.47 for all of these hair ties.

I have seen these bunny/rabbit hair ties here and there and I really wanted to get my hands on them. I haven't seen them around stores or maybe I just haven't noticed them.
My sister told me about a few DIY videos on youtube of people making it from scratch but I'm too lazy for that. I would buy all the material and abandon it in my craft box and forget about it (just like a few of my previous attempts at making stuff).

I know eBay had rabbit ears headbands with the metal that you tie around your head so I was hoping they would have the hair ties. To my surprise (well... not really) I found SO many of them! :) They
came in all different kinds of colours and designs. A lot of them sold for $1 per hair tie and I was okay with paying that. The variety that was offered was a bit overwhelming and I wanted so many of them! LOL. After searching further I found a few sellers that sold them in bulks of 10 at a really cheap price. I placed an order on either the cheapest one I could find or one of the cheaper ones offered. I have a theory that when the same seller lists identical items multiple times at different prices that the cheapest ones are faulty. Do not quote me on that it's just a theory of mine! LOL!

Anyways, the ones that I ended up getting were $2.47 with free shipping for 10 bunny hair ties (picture above).  What a bargain! (Seller listed below) It would cost me so much more buying different material and elastic. Before I put my purchase through I looked at the sellers rating and feedback. By the way the ones that I bought have the shorter ears and they have (i'm guessing) foam so that they stand up and aren't floppy. I have seen ones which have longer ears and no foam which I did not like as much. It always scares me when people give negative feedback and comment that they haven't received their item. I have never experienced that before so let's hope I don't jinx it.

When the package arrived I was surprised as the expected delivery date was not until 2-3 weeks later. It arrived in around 2 weeks after I placed my order. That's pretty fast considering it was standard delivery from China. When I opened the package I have to say I was disappointed at first because the pattern for the hair ties did not match the picture shown in the images on eBay. Only 3 of them were that pattern. The other 7 were different. I'm not saying that they were hideous or ugly just not what I was expecting. I'm kind of happy I got different patterns now. It's all good. Considering it was $2.47 for a set of 10 I really should not complain.

The ears are detachable and they become a scrunchie. They also make adorable bracelets and come in handy when you need a hair tie. Extra bonuses! HAHA.
